Hands-on Team Lead

• Managing and coaching a team of engineers: you ensure quality, help resolve obstacles, and make sure everyone can grow in their role;
• Rolling up your sleeves: you remain technically involved in projects and help solve complex issues, in addition to your managerial role;
• Monitoring the quality and progress of ongoing projects and ensuring timely delivery;
• Serving as the point of contact for clients: you translate their needs into clear technical assignments for your team;
• Contributing to the development of internal processes, working methods, and best practices within your domain;
• Collaborating closely with other teams and departments to create synergy and promote knowledge sharing;
• Reporting to management on team performance, capacity, and risks.

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, cybersecurity, engineering, or have equivalent experience:
• You have at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in IT and/or OT security, with a strong focus on network security, including some time in a coordinating or managerial role;
• You are fluent in Dutch, English, and French; 
• You know how to motivate a team, clearly define tasks, and give people the space to do their jobs well;
• You maintain your technical acumen: you step in where needed and understand what your team is working on from start to finish;
• Planning, prioritizing, and maintaining an overview in a dynamic environment: that comes naturally to you;
• Maturity, a professional approach, and genuine attention to your team members are decisive factors for us.
